Camp Rock tells the rock n’ roll Cinderella story of a teen (Mitchie) with a driving ambition to be a pop singer who wants to spend her summer at a prestigious rock camp that her family cannot afford. Her mother gets a job as Camp Rock’s cook so that Mitchie can attend as long as she helps out in the kitchen between classes. Mitchie lives a double life hiding that she’s the cook’s daughter and posing as a well-to-do camper in order to become part of the hottest clique at camp. When she’s overheard singing, but not seen, by teen pop star and celebrity camp instructor, he is completely taken and sets out to find the girl behind the beautiful voice. Meanwhile, Mitchie will have to learn how to confront her fears, step out of the kitchen, and step into the spotlight as herself.

Who We Are
WRC Theatre Company
Located in the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley, WRC Theatre Company has been performing children’s theater at the Warwick Reformed Church since 2013. We have put on a variety of shows, ranging from famous musicals such as “Beauty and the Beast,” to sketch comedy and even a traveling monologue show.
In all that we do, we strive to live out our motto of changing lives one performance at a time, while at the same time working to better the world around us. We always perform our shows as an outreach opportunity for young people to make a difference in their community. Meet Our Director

Margaret Tench has been a performer for over 30 years. She is a Member in Good Standing with Actor’s Equity, Screen Actors Guild, and A.F.T.R.A. She earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Acting from Florida State University.
Margaret put herself through college doing stand up comedy. After graduating, she began her career working in Summer Stock Theatre. She also worked as an apprentice for Burt Reynolds Institute for Theatre Training, where she earned her Equity Card. She then came to New York in a Broadway show directed by Charles Nelson Reilly titled “The Incomparable Lou, Lou” which unfortunately closed in previews.
Being an unemployed actress in New York made Ms. Tench hit the road again as a comedian to pay the bills. She traveled the north east and south for several years performing in clubs and on college campuses.
Margaret has also been a principle performer in many national and regional commercials, even recently appearing on “Late Night With Seth Meyers”. She is the Director of the Warwick Reformed Church Theatre Company.
Margaret currently lives in Westtown, New York with her husband, two boys and three dogs.
