Margaret began teaching young performers in 2008 with the original “Black Dog Acting Company” which was hosted in a small dojo in Pine Island New York. The company began with a scene study and monologue class for a small group of children. Margaret then decided that she felt this program could become a performing theatre company. As a member of the Warwick Reformed Church, Margaret brought the idea of children using their gifts and talents to serve others to the consistory, and they welcomed us to use their space. The WRC Theatre company was founded by Margaret Harrison in 2013 and has grown each year in both company size and the number of performances. Margaret has continued to grow this company while currently auditioning and performing in her own professional career.
